“Judo Dance”
Is it fighting or dancing? This piece plays with that blurry line between martial arts and artistic movement, turning judo techniques into something that looks almost like choreography. Bold orange and blue strokes create the figures, giving off a visual buzz that moves through the judo sequences while ghostly dance steps float in the background like traces of motion.
What comes through is the grace that's always been part of combat sports. Judo holds and dance moves aren't as different as you'd think. Both need balance, timing, and a real feel for physical momentum. The line work and color choices keep everything in motion.
The layered background hints at classical dance positions, which gets you thinking about two people moving together, especially when one person's leading the other. It's more than just a sports illustration. It's looking at the artistry that runs through all physical disciplines.
Good for collectors interested in work that blurs the line between combat and expression. "Judo Dance" has visual energy and something to chew on conceptually. It would grab attention in a contemporary collection and speaks to how we're thinking differently about where art, human movement, and cultural practice overlap.

High Quality Canvas
My Giclée canvas prints are crafted with high-quality, archival materials to ensure lasting durability and vibrant colors. Experience gallery-quality results on a semi-matte cotton canvas. The UV print technique ensures water and fade resistance, while the lightly textured surface adds depth and the look of the original canvas to the print.
The canvas is 344 gsm in weight and stretched onto wooden stretcher bars like the original. Once stretched, the final print will be around 20mm deep/thick on the side.
Framing
The floater frames are crafted from poplar hardwood, giving your canvas the appearance of floating within the frame. The frame is 1 cm (0.4”) wide from the front and 4 cm (1.6”) deep from the side. The frames come in black, white, and oak to suit any artwork. Optionally, you can receive your artwork without a frame if you would like to have it framed yourself. Note: Frames may vary slightly in color, finish, and spacing from example images.
Ready to hang
Each print comes ready to hang with pre-installed sawtooth hardware and rubber bumpers to protect your wall and keep your artwork perfectly aligned.
