The "Yearnin' & Burnin'" series stems from my love of Lisbon and travel in general. I've represented some of my favorite cities as maps, each identified by its corresponding International Air Transport Association (IATA) code. Every piece is digitally printed on thick card stock and then emblazoned with the burnin' heart—a three-step process that makes each one completely original. First, the heart is spray painted in white, then the black details are screen printed, and finally, the piece is finished with spray painted fire. No two are exactly alike.
